Vol. 53 No. 3 (2024): 15ª Conferência Lusófona de Ciência Aberta (ConfOA)
We are pleased to present the Proceedings of the 15th Lusophone Conference on Open Science (ConfOA), highlighting the Pecha Kucha (PK) presentations shared at the event held at the Porto Nursing School from October 1 to 4, 2024.
Since its founding in 2010, ConfOA has become a vital space for the exchange of knowledge on Open Science among Lusophone communities, as a result of collaboration between Portugal and Brazil. This year, the in-person event featured 33 PK presentations covering essential topics such as data management, adoption of FAIR principles, open access publishing, citizen science, and the social impact of Open Science.
Additionally, we highlight 14 Communications to be published in the journal Ciência da Informação and posters available on Zenodo. Demos and workshops enriched the program, alongside opening and closing conferences with renowned specialists.
We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in making this event a success and invite you to join us for the next edition of ConfOA, to be held from September 8 to 11, 2025, in Goiânia. Join us to continue promoting Open Science in an environment of collaboration and innovation.
